class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>El Laboratorio de Imagen micro PET\/CT forma parte de las instalaciones de investigaci\u00f3n en f\u00edsica m\u00e9dica IFIMED del IFIC, y supone un recurso singular destinado a dar servicio a la comunidad investigadora, principalmente para la realizaci\u00f3n de estudios precl\u00ednicos de imagen. En particular, se ofrece la posibilidad de:<\/p><ul><li>Obtener im\u00e1genes <em>in vivo<\/em> de procesos metab\u00f3licos en peque\u00f1os animales mediante tomograf\u00eda por emisi\u00f3n de positrones (PET)<\/li><li>Obtener im\u00e1genes estructurales de peque\u00f1os animales mediante tomograf\u00eda computarizada (CT) para el estudio de la morfolog\u00eda anat\u00f3mica, tejidos blandos, etc.<\/li><li>Obtener im\u00e1genes funcionales fusionadas con im\u00e1genes estructurales para una localizaci\u00f3n precisa de d\u00f3nde est\u00e1n teniendo lugar los procesos metab\u00f3licos de inter\u00e9s<\/li><\/ul><p>Los estudios de imagen estructural no necesariamente han de ce\u00f1irse al \u00e1mbito biol\u00f3gico, sino que tambi\u00e9n es posible obtener im\u00e1genes de componentes o estructuras de peque\u00f1o tama\u00f1o que absorban parcialmen-te los Rayos X.<\/p><p>Los cient\u00edficos y tecn\u00f3logos altamente especializados que operan el laboratorio pueden trabajar tambi\u00e9n con los datos en crudo utilizados para la formaci\u00f3n de las im\u00e1genes, lo cual permite ofertar otro tipo de servicios tales como:<\/p><ul><li>el desarrollo de prototipos de imagen m\u00e9dica<\/li><li>la combinaci\u00f3n con otros dispositivos para la mejora de la imagen final<\/li><li>el estudio de nuevos algoritmos de reconstrucci\u00f3n de imagen o algoritmos de correcci\u00f3n de la se\u00f1al<\/li><\/ul><p>Este laboratorio de imagen micro PET\/CT no se limita a los servicios indicados, sino que est\u00e1 abierto al apoyo a los investigadores en el tratamiento de las im\u00e1genes o en el procesamiento de los datos, as\u00ed como al estudio de cualquier otra aplicaci\u00f3n que el usuario pueda prever y que pueda ser
