{"id":7027,"date":"2022-05-16T07:33:52","date_gmt":"2022-05-16T07:33:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ucie.ific.uv.es\/ucie\/?p=7027"},"modified":"2022-05-20T07:41:41","modified_gmt":"2022-05-20T07:41:41","slug":"new-call-of-the-artemisa-infrastructure-for-computing-in-artificial-intelligence-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ucie.ific.uv.es\/ucie\/en\/new-call-of-the-artemisa-infrastructure-for-computing-in-artificial-intelligence-3\/","title":{"rendered":"New Call of the Artemisa infrastructure for computing in Artificial Intelligence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From May 16<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0to June 12<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a02022 will be open the call to apply for the use of the\u00a0<em>Artemisa<\/em>\u00a0infrastructure for research work that requires computing in artificial intelligence and machine learning.<\/p>\n<p>To this call can apply any research group of the Spanish public universities or public research centres.<\/p>\n<p><em>Artemisa\u00a0<\/em>is currently composed of 23 servers that host one NVIDIA GPU Volta V100 each, 11 servers with one GPU NVIDIA Ampere A100 and a server with 8 GPUs of the said model. The servers are especially suitable for computing in artificial intelligence. In addition to these servers, which must be used in \u201cbatch\u201d mode, there are two interfaces where the users can previously test their software.\u00a0<em>Artemisa<\/em>\u00a0also boasts a last generation CPU and storage system.<\/p>\n<p>To apply, research groups should use Artemisa\u2019s web site:<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/artemisa.ific.uv.es\/<\/p>\n<p>and follow the steps described there.<\/p>\n<p>The applications will be evaluated by a committee that will take into account the scientific interest of the application, the research group record, the adequacy to the Artemisa\u2019s resources of the computation proposed, in particular the use of artificial intelligence, and the availability of the requested resources.
