V Ed. de los Premios rePCV a las iniciativas emprendedoras y empresariales

Si tienes una spin-off, una start-up o una colaboración con una de las cinco universidades valencianas, tu empresa puede ser reconocida en los V Premios que otorga la Red de Parques Científicos Valencianos, que cuentan con el apoyo de la Agència Valenciana de la Innovació (AVI). ¡Anima a tu equipo y presenta tu candidatura!

Este año la Fundació Parc Científic Universitat de València (FPCUV) será la entidad organizadora de estos galardones, los cuales pretenden contribuir al desarrollo y a la consolidación de las empresas creadas y desarrolladas con el apoyo de los cinco parques científicos de la Comunitat Valenciana, apoyar y potenciar el espíritu emprendedor en el ámbito de los parques científicos valencianos e impulsar y fortalecer las relaciones Universidad-Empresa.

El objeto específico de esta convocatoria, que celebra su quinta edición, es premiar y reconocer la actividad de las iniciativas emprendedoras y empresariales atendiendo a su crecimiento, carácter innovador, estrategia empresarial y aportación al entorno.

Las modalidades de los premios corresponden a:
•    Premio a la Spin-off
•    Premio a la Start-up
•    Premio a la Colaboración Empresa – Universidad

Desde la  FPCUV te animamos a presentar tu candidatura. Envía tu solicitud cumplimentando el siguiente enlace. El plazo de presentación de candidaturas acaba el viernes 9 de junio a las 14:00 horas. 

Los galardones, con carácter honorífico, consistirán en diplomas de reconocimiento y trofeos, de los que se concederá un premio y hasta un máximo de dos accésits por cada modalidad. Adicionalmente, las empresas que obtengan el premio en cada una de las tres categorías tendrán derecho a solicitar hasta dos entradas a Transfiere 2024. Además, el parque organizador de la quinta edición, el Parc Científic de la Universitat de València (PCUV), como entidad que participará en la Valencia Digital Summit 2023, ofrece a las empresas premiadas la posibilidad de participar en este encuentro tecnológico internacional.

New Call of the Artemisa infrastructure for computing in Artificial Intelligence

From May 15th to June 11th will be open the 2023 second call to apply for the use of the Artemisa infrastructure for research work that requires computing in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

To this call can apply any research group of the Spanish public universities or public research centres.

Artemisa is currently composed of 23 servers that host one NVIDIA GPU Volta V100 each, 11 servers with one GPU NVIDIA Ampere A100 and a server with 8 GPUs of the said model. The servers are especially suitable for computing in artificial intelligence. In addition to these servers, which must be used in “batch” mode, there are two interfaces where the users can previously test their software. Artemisa also boasts a last generation CPU and storage system.

The applications will be evaluated by a committee that will take into account the scientific interest of the application, the research group record, the adequacy to the Artemisa’s resources of the computation proposed, in particular the use of artificial intelligence, and the availability of the requested resources. Additionally, the societal impact of the proposal could be taken into account, especially if its objectives are listed in the priority matrix of the RIS3 of Comunitat Valenciana.

Artemisa is funded by the European Union and the Conselleria of Education, Research, Culture and Sports of the Generalitat Valenciana through the Project IDIFEDER/2018/048 of the Operative Programme FEDER 2014-2020 of the Comunitat Valenciana.
